At Villanova Monteleone, the second appointment of the "Libriamoci, Incontriamoci: Libri per exit" exhibition included in the "Culture beyond borders" festival on the 35th anniversary of the birth of the association.
For this summer event, the presentation of the book "La casa della happiness" by Patrizia Virgilio (Ed. Amico Libro) has been scheduled. All organized by the cultural association Interrios with the patronage of the municipal administration and the Union of Municipalities of Villanova and with the collaboration of the Il Labirinto bookshop of Alghero and the Misericordia association, scheduled for Thursday 1 August at 7.30 pm in the Piazzetta “Raimondo Piras” adjacent to Su Palatu. For the occasion, Laura Neri, head teacher of the “Li Punti” comprehensive school in Sassari, will talk to the author.
A novel, as we read in the preface, which is very close to how we are used to living life: dreams, beliefs, decisions which, one step at a time, allow us to collect emotions almost everywhere. "The house of happiness" tells the story of Faustina Sanna, a young nursery teacher who is placed in a role in a small town in Sardinia, far from her certainties and her family. A courageous, curious and slightly clumsy Faustina perhaps that, after the discovery of an ancient text inside the house that hosts her, she will be able to focus and rebuild her happiness. This is thanks to the thing she likes to do most: getting to the bottom of the things that are hidden.
Patrizia Virgilio lives and works in Sassari as a teacher, counselor and trainer for adults. She wrote her first book, "The educator's armor. Semi-serious manual for parents and all those involved in education" (2021), on one of the topics dearest to her: support for parenting. For more than for twenty years he has been interested in mindfulness, personal and family well-being, holding training courses and seminars.
