"The disaster of health care": the minority attacks the Region
Meeting in the headquarters of the Sassari Democratic Party in the presence of Gianfranco Ganau, Desirè Manca and Daniele CoccoThe regional minority shoots chained balls against the management of health care by the Solinas governance. This morning, in the headquarters of the Sassari Democratic Party, the democrat Gianfranco Ganau, the pentastellata Desirè Manca and Daniele Cocco of Liberi e Uguali, representing all the opposition, denounced a long series of critical issues in the health system.
«What is happening is incredible - attacks Ganau - the non-extension of the contracts of the doctors of the Usca and of the temporary doctors has led to a series of inconveniences in terms of assistance. Like the blockade of the Sassari vaccination hub, of the necropsy service, or the possibility of assistance for fragile Covid patients ». The responsibility, according to the center-left, would lie entirely with the health councilor Carlo Doria, who is accused of "unholy choices" and the attempt to shift attention to telemedicine: "We all agree, but it has nothing to do with it and solves the problems generated".
There is open talk of a "disaster" and the need for adequate responses also with regard to the accession of healthcare professionals to continuity of care services: "We need economic incentives - the three argue - a doctor on duty is paid 20 euros an hour against the 80 of the so-called token doctors. It's shameful." For Cocco it is then necessary to start from the "base": «We need to put our hand to law 24 and give autonomy, including financial, to the healthcare companies because it is unthinkable that Ares, which was supposed to decentralize services and activities, is centralizing even more than 'Ats».
Then there are the company deeds in the crosshairs, on which "the councilor should make changes, and we are referring to that of the ASL of Sassari, on which we should go back to it to give equal dignity to hospitals, including that of Ozieri".
Negative balance also for Manca who criticizes the "downgrading of the psychology department of the Aou of Sassari, the non-recognition of the pink code and all the government millions of euros to break down the waiting lists that have never been spent". Now the commissioner is expected to respond and, the councilors declare, is willing to share the paths to repair the distortions of regional health.
