In Sardinia the mobilization against speculation and projects for the installation of large wind and photovoltaic plants does not stop.
As has already happened in other municipalities on the island, the committees took to the streets in Oristano , to reiterate their "no to the assault", while another large demonstration has already been announced, which will take place on Saturday 30 August in Cagliari, with a procession that will go from Piazza dei Centomila to the Palazzo della Regione in Via Roma.
An initiative, we read in a note, "to react decisively against the ongoing speculative assault that seriously threatens the autonomy, the environment, the communities and the future of Sardinia".
The collection of signatures for the proposed law “Pratobello 24” continues unabated in all the municipalities and at the stands set up by activists in various locations, which aims to stop the energy speculation that risks disfiguring the territory of Sardinia.
The Todde council, meanwhile, after a summit between the regional councillor for Local Authorities, Finance and Urban Planning Francesco Spanedda and representatives of environmental committees and associations, announced that the provision on the so-called Suitable Areas will be submitted to the attention of the regional council "in just under a month".
