"Four out of five maintenance vehicles broken down: service not guaranteed": the complaint to Brotzu
USB issues a formal notice to the company: "Immediate action is needed. The contract should stipulate that they will be repaired, but that's not happening."Per restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
Five vans available, only one fully functional. Another has problems, and the remaining three have been idle, some for at least six months.
This is the situation regarding the vehicles that should be used by the maintenance workers at Arnas Brotzu, according to the complaint by USB Sanità and the workers' safety representative (RLS).
The staff is forced to operate without functioning vehicles, jeopardizing their safety and the effectiveness of maintenance operations. The situation, already reported, has not yet received a response from the company.
The reconstruction of the incident is reported in a note: "The critical issues are even more incomprehensible considering that the vehicles in use are leased, and therefore subject to contractual obligations for maintenance, repair, or replacement," it reads.
The condition of the vehicles "makes it virtually impossible to guarantee timely interventions, particularly at Businco" and the situation "has further worsened following the merger of Microcitemico".
"This 'abnormal normality' situation can no longer continue," USB Sanità continues. "Delays are piling up, departments are reporting service disruptions, and staff are exposed to risks that cannot be attributed to either the workers or the efficiency of the service. Without suitable resources, it is impossible to guarantee maintenance support for the departments."
