The first appointment of Bellezza in Musica, the event in the Christmas holiday calendar, is scheduled for Friday, December 5th, at 9 pm, in the church of Santa Croce in Sorso.

Ignazio Chessa presents "If Beauty Were Taught," a monologue about Peppino Impastato, a journalist and activist killed by the Mafia at the age of 30. This project is artistically directed by Simone Gelsomino, with costumes by Fabio Loi and technical direction by Serena Vargiu. A theatrical performance of civic engagement, with moments of emotion and satire, giving voice to Peppino Impastato, his mother Felicia, his comrades in arms, and the very Mafiosi he fought against.

A short play that tells the story of one of the mafia's most uncompromising and courageous enemies, portrayed in all his human facets. Impastato's courage, solitude, and strength are key drivers of education in legality, in contrast to the mafia mentality.
