"Basilio and Liliana father and mother of all": in Porto Torres the farewell to the woman killed by hatchet by her son-in-law

Words of great feeling and passion those pronounced by the parish priest of the church of Cristo Risorto, don Michele Murgia, a long homily for the last farewell to Liliana Caterina Mancusa, 66, who died after more than a month of agony in the hospital's intensive care unit civilian of Sassari.

A drama that affected a family, which gathered in the church for a second time, after the farewell to Basilio Saladino, the 74-year-old policeman who was Liliana's husband, the first victim of the brutal attack that took place that Saturday, February 26 last.

A long farewell letter written by Giusy and Mariella Saladino, daughters of the two victims of the ex-son-in-law's ferocity, Fulvio Baule, the 40-year-old bricklayer imprisoned on charges of aggravated double murder and attempted murder of Ilaria Saladino, the third daughter 39 years old, still hospitalized in serious condition at the Santissima Annunziata.

“There will be no more morning, afternoon and evening phone calls - added Giusy Saladino - afterwards we will hear the distracted voices of what was happening among our little ones. They are lucky enough to have us, who will tell them about your love for children and grandchildren ”.
