" Autumn in Barbagia " is back, the symbolic event of hospitality which, from 2 September to 17 December, passes through 33 towns in the "Heart of Sardinia", as the slogan states.

The circuit involves the Barbagia communities who for years have been organizing an experiential journey with passion and dedication that sees not only the town but also its inhabitants as protagonists, who open the doors of their homes, their courts, their past. A journey made of millenary traditions, among the typical local products, the arts and crafts that they still guard with great pride.

2022 was the year of rebirth after the pandemic, this is the year, however, of confirmation after the over 500,000 visitors who visited the towns throughout the autumn.

The program was presented this morning in Cagliari to the Tourism Department by Councilor Gianni Chessa, by the President of the Nuoro Chamber of Commerce, Agostino Cicalò, and by Roberto Cadeddu, President of Aspen.

It starts from Bitti and ends in Orune, with a new town to visit: Lodine which this year has decided to participate in the event that has "officially" reached its twenty-third edition, but was born twenty-nine years ago when it was still called Cortes Apertas. Not only traditional communication to promote the initiative through newspapers, magazines, radio and television, but Aspen and the Chamber of Commerce also play their cards on the web with a constant presence: the official site of Autumn in Barbagia has been joined by social channels Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, with which today it is easier to capture the attention of visitors.
