Quartucciu, traffic at a standstill on the 554 due to the collision between two cars

Road accident on the 554 near Quartucciu involving some damaged cars.

The Carabinieri of Selargius and the mobile radio unit of the Quartu Company were on site. There are no injuries. Traffic immediately went haywire with long queues in both directions and heavy inconvenience for motorists in transit.

It seems that the cause of the accident was a failure to give way, with two cars colliding while remaining on the road. Two other cars were also involved and were equally damaged but, as mentioned, fortunately, there were no injuries. So much so that no one ended up in hospital.
