Quartucciu, flames at Su Petzu Mannu: brushwood on fire, a horse saved

Fire in Su Petzu Mannu, in the countryside of Quartucciu . The fire has engulfed a vast uncultivated land, incinerating the stubble.

The alarm was immediate, also because the presence of a horse was signaled which in reality had already been brought to safety by the owner. The animal was kept in an enclosure.

The firefighters are now taking steps to put out the fire that is affecting a fairly large area completely covered in brushwood.

It is not excluded that the fire is of arson origin. Meanwhile, all the municipalities in the hinterland have issued the usual ordinances requiring owners to reclaim land, especially in the suburbs.
