A 75-year-old pensioner was found dead during the night in Quartucciu . The alarm was raised by a family member living on the peninsula, alarmed because the man was not answering the phone .

The firefighters intervened immediately and broke into the house in Via Delle Primule, making the macabre discovery.

The man lived alone with his dog . Police and carabinieri were also on site for legal investigations.

Death would have come from natural causes.
