Two cars on fire during the night in the town of Quartu Sant'Elena .

The flames attacked a Golf in via Mercantini, then spreading to a Fiat Panda parked nearby.

The alarm was given by motorists with the immediate arrival of a patrol from the Company's mobile radio unit and a team of firefighters who circumscribed and extinguished the blaze, then making the site safe.

The Carabinieri , acting under the command of Lieutenant Ignazio Cabras, have started the investigation .
