Quartu Sant'Elena: flames in via Manin, two people intoxicated

Big fire around 5 this morning in a house in via Manin in Quartu Sant'Elena. Two cars parked on the street nearby caught fire, the flames invaded the garage of the nearest house, devastating the household goods and everything stored there.

The alarm was raised immediately by the residents with the arrival of the firefighters. After hard work, with the tenants pouring into the street, the flames were contained and put out. The site is now being secured. While two people, mother and son, were intoxicated and are being observed in hospital.
