There is also a Prociv fire-fighting vehicle among those that were set on fire in Saturday evening's raid in the area of via Brigata Sassari, in Quartu. The affected cars were parked on the road, the one belonging to the association was inside the square closed with a gate.

But this is not the only peculiarity related to the story. The vehicle destroyed in recent days had ended up at the center of a clash, fueled on social media, between the old president of the voluntary group, Gigi Demartis, and the new guide, Alice Puddu: the first accused the second of having put it up for sale, claiming the property. There hasn't been good blood between the two for some time: the disagreements, according to what emerges, have also been poured into warnings and have resulted in a legal clash.

"We have contacted the police, at the moment I prefer not to make any statement": Puddu, reached by telephone, prefers not to say too much. Demartis also hides behind a polite no comment.

Saturday's fire, at the moment, remains unrelated to the internal affairs of the association. Even if it's not the first: Prociv has been targeted three times in recent months. Last August, another raid on the headquarters in via Brigata Sassari had caused damage for tens of thousands of euros: fire-fighting vehicles, in the midst of the summer campaign, and ambulances had been put out of action.

Those who had broken into the offices had also taken away a defibrillator and some two-way radios, after damaging two six-thousand and three-thousand-litre water pumps.
