From the landscapes of Ogliastra to those of Sarcidano, through theater, music, and life stories. The journey of "Biaxu in su Trenino Birdi" continues, the two-part series produced by Teatro dellarmadio in collaboration with ARST and Rai Sardegna. After its debut on October 11th, the second episode is scheduled for Sunday, October 18th at 9:00 a.m. on Rai 3 Sardegna, also available on digital terrestrial channel 822.

The project transforms the Trenino Verde into a traveling stage, where the island's landscapes intertwine with stories, characters, and artistic inspiration. Antonello Murgia is directing and composing the original music, while Fabio Marceddu accompanies spectators along the route, playing the role of a train conductor who guides them through the journey between reality and imagination.

The first episode traveled through the Ogliastra region , starting in Arbatax and passing through Tortolì, Sella Elecci, Lanusei, and Elini. The itinerary was enriched by contributions from Michela Sale Musio and Tiziana Troja, the duo Lucido Sottile, actor Juri Piroddi, singer Rossella Faa, painter Filippo Martinez, the operatic voice of Tiziana Pani, and the Alma Voce choir.

The second episode will instead travel to the Sarcidano region, along the railway line from Mandas to Laconi, stopping at the stations of Nurri, Serri, Nurallao, and Isili. The underlying theme will be "to be or not to be," in a story that intertwines identity, freedom, and the relationship with the community.

Among the protagonists will be Lia Careddu , in the role of Zaira, a woman haunted by the shadow of a sin she never committed, and Moses Concas , who plays a man searching for freedom. They will be joined by Daniela Littarru, Sandro Loi, and Pascale Aiguier. Also lending voice to the most authentic aspects of local life will be Daniele Farris, a jockey from Nurri, while the musical atmosphere will be provided by the Clara Voce choir, directed by Valentina Porru.

Both episodes will subsequently be available on RaiPlay , with Italian subtitles to make the linguistic and cultural richness of the story accessible even to those who do not know Sardinian.

For Teatro dellarmadio, an artistic group that has been garnering national and international recognition for over twenty years, the project represents a new opportunity to combine different languages and tell the story of Sardinia through its communities, traditions, and lesser-known landscapes. A journey that invites us to rediscover the value of slowness and memory, transforming the train journey into an experience of encounter and storytelling .
