Quartu, house set on fire after a dispute: a man arrested

An unemployed man was arrested by agents of the Quartu police station on charges of aggravated arson. This is Ubaldo Belfiori, 39 years old.

He would have set fire to the apartment on the second floor of a popular building in via della Musica. Shortly before he would have had an argument with the landlady, a young mother of four children, who, after leaving the house, immediately went to the headquarters of the police station to tell what had happened.

The man was tracked down in the afternoon in Quartu and arrested. In the evening he was transferred to the Uta prison at the disposal of the magistrate, Dr. Marco Cocco. According to the little information collected in via della Musica, the man would have had an argument with the woman before the fire broke out.

The apartment suffered serious damage and was declared unusable by the fire brigade.
