The task of carrying out autopsies on the bodies of Giacomo Desogus and Matthias Steri, twenty-eight years old, both from Quartu, victims of the tragic hunting trip that took place in the countryside of Quartu on Sunday afternoon, will be entrusted this morning.

One of the two friends allegedly accidentally fired a shotgun, killing the other, and then took his own life, with the same rifle, out of desperation after what had happened.

Cagliari prosecutor Andrea Massidda, who is coordinating the investigation, has entrusted the necropsy examinations to Dr. Roberto Demontis. One of the autopsies will be performed this afternoon, the second tomorrow. The coroner's examinations will serve to establish which of the two young men fired, by mistake, the first shot, killing his friend, and then committed suicide.
