Quartu, Abbanoa on the hunt for an underground leak

Water problems continue in Quartu. Abbanoa emergency response teams are working to inspect the network and identify a leak that isn't visible on the surface, but is affecting the pressure in the pipes.

The operations are carried out with special equipment, called geophones, which detect leaks through sound pulses along the pipes. As soon as the exact breakage point is identified, repairs will begin immediately.

Pressure drops and temporary interruptions are expected today, particularly in the Via Marconi area toward the cemetery. Service will resume at full capacity once the work is completed.
