Serious road accident a little while ago in via San Benedetto in Quartu .
A 52-year-old pedestrian , residing in the city district, was hit by a car driven by a young man who immediately stopped for help.
The local police and 118 personnel immediately arrived on the spot, the injured was accompanied to the hospital in red code .
It appears that the man was run over by the car as he was crossing the street. Local police are working on the spot to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the accident.
