No more water thrown into the sea in Santa Margherita di Pula. Abbanoa intervened to block the stream that started from the lifting plant and ended on the coast of the Perla Marina communion: a slap in the face, in a period of restrictions that grip half of Sardinia precisely due to the scarcity of water resources.

The administrator of the complex, Beppe Kalb, reported the problem on May 13th. The water manager told him that it was difficult to calibrate the lifting system on the 195: it was calibrated to supply a population that, while waiting for the full summer season, is not yet there. So the extra water, purified, ended up in the sea.

Yesterday the complaint ended up on the Unione Sarda website and an in-depth article of complaint was published in the newspaper on newsstands.

This morning, the “surprise”: the voluntary leak was stopped. “The bitterness remains that if you don't play the drum people will sleep,” is Kalb's comment.
