The renovation works of the Santa Margherita seafront, damaged by the storms of recent years, have started in Pula .
The interventions include the restoration of the road section that extends from the Flamingo to Is Morus, and aim to make the path that runs alongside the beach safe again.
The deputy mayor and councilor for public works, Elisabetta Loi, explains the importance of the works: «Thanks to a loan allocated by the Ministry of the Interior, we have managed to put in the pipeline a work that will make the coast of Santa Margherita, made dangerous over the years by rains and storm surges. The interventions, in addition to the restoration of the stretches of road compromised by erosion, provide for the raising of a retaining wall that will protect the roadway from storm surges.
