Don Andrea Manunta is the new parish priest of the hamlet of Santa Margherita. The priest , who took the place of Don Giorgio Franceschi who arrived in the parish of San Massimiliano Kolbe in Cagliari, celebrated his first mass accompanied by the vicar general of the diocese of Cagliari, Monsignor Ferdinando Caschili .
The first mass celebrated by Don Andrea Manunta was also attended by the mayor, Walter Cabasino; the vice mayor, Elisabetta Loi; and the councilor for Tourism, Donatella Fa.
The mayor, after thanking the previous priest and the bishop for having promptly sent a replacement, welcomed the new parish priest of the village: «This community is made up of scattered houses, a founding nucleus made up of different origins and the presence of Italian and foreign tourists and seasonal workers, I am sure that Don Andrea will be happy and will become a point of reference for the faithful of the area. The Municipality will always provide maximum collaboration».
