Pula, devastating fire at the former Pirate: the gazebo of the historic pizzeria destroyed

Fire during the night in Pula in the outdoor area of the former Pirata restaurant, pizzeria and nightclub .

The intervention of the firefighters yesterday evening , just before 8pm: the wooden gazebo , of approximately 300 m2 , located outside the premises, which had not been in operation for some time, was on fire.

The fire brigade teams, with two vehicles and seven operators, had to work for over an hour to contain and extinguish the fire .

The area was then cordoned off and investigations are already underway by the police to ascertain the probable causes.

No one was involved .

The structure had been closed for about ten years , but it seems that it was ready to reopen the business under new management .
