Puigdemont: "We will return to Alghero as free citizens of a Republic"

Carles Puigdemont will hold a press conference tonight in Alghero together with the lawyer Gonzalo Boye and his head of cabinet, Josep Lluís Alay. Shortly before that, the current President of the Generalitat, Pere Aragones, who arrived in the city today, together with the other Catalan authorities already present, will also meet the journalists.

"We will return to Alghero as free citizens of a Republic, in a Europe that is more democratic and more united in fundamental rights," Puigdemont said during the meeting with the mayor Mario Conoci.
