Prosecutor's investigation into the reclamation of Sulcis

The reclamation of some industrial sites in Portoscuso and Sulcis are at the center of a vast investigation by the Prosecutor of Cagliari which, yesterday morning, sent the Carabinieri of the ecological operational unit (Noe) to Sulcis to carry out inspections and acquire documents. At the center of the military investigations there would be the activities of the Fintecna and Ireos companies which would have received the commissions to carry out important reclamation operations in the industrial area.

The prosecutor has already appointed some consultants who should evaluate the activity carried out. Mouths closed, however, on which site or landfill ended up at the center of the investigations, nor what the hypotheses of crime are. However, it has been leaked that there are already at least four names in the register of suspects, attributable to the two companies.

The few elements filtered out at the moment are very generic: there is talk of an investigation into the reclamation destined to make a lot of noise, if only for the prestige of the multinationals that have already received a visit from the Noe.
