The numbers – already as they are – are record-breaking. That Pratobello 24 has become something very serious, given the popular legitimacy, also by admission of some of the highest institutional positions in the Region, was known. But what the committees define as “an avalanche”, unexpected for its proportions, shows no signs of stopping.

Seventy thousand signatures were collected in one hundred municipalities of Sardinia: this is an official figure that does not take into account the large centers of the Island. That is, the entire Cagliari area, the Sassari area and the cities of Gallura.

Confirmation comes from the mayor of Orgosolo, Pasquale Mereu , promoter of the proposed popular initiative law that leverages Urban Planning to reaffirm Sardinia's specialty in the matter and, therefore, set solid barriers against the wind and photovoltaic assault.

"The Regional Council must decide that there are no suitable areas on the Island," says Mereu. " The Sardinian assembly must make this act of courage and adopt the Pratobello 24, strong in a popular legitimacy never seen before , to open a dispute with the State that has always considered us a colony."
