The collection of signatures for the popular initiative law Pratobello 24 , against energy speculation in Sardinia, continues.
Also in Cagliari , with an event organized in Marina Piccola to promote the mobilization: in addition to the stalls set up to collect the signatures, live music and debates on the theme with the voices of the promoters.
Many people, of all ages, arrived on site in the afternoon to sign and give their contribution: "Finally", this was the most recurring comment, "we want the Sardinians to decide in Sardinia" .

Meanwhile, in Sassari the final rush has begun in view of September 16, the closing day of the signature collection . For the occasion, the local committee led by the association Sa Domo de Totus has organized a flash mob entitled “Una penna al vento” (A pen in the wind) , in which activists, volunteers and authenticators from all over Sardinia will take part (from 5 pm in Piazza Castello), ready to explain the reasons for the “civic battle”.
"In Sassari alone we have collected more than ten thousand signatures, that is, the amount sufficient to bring the bill against energy colonization to the Regional Council, this popular will cannot be ignored" , write the Sassari activists in a statement.
"But the signature collection will not be an end in itself, rather it is only the beginning of a path of democratic claims and sovereignty - underlines Fabrizio Cossu , president of the association - and it is for this reason that on the occasion of the end of the campaign we have called the citizens to raise the pen to the sky that represents a collective will to defend and protect our land and our national and community rights".
At 7 pm on Monday, the symbolic moment of the flash mob is planned, during which the participants will "raise a pen to the wind", with the intent of drawing the attention of the Regional Council to the issue, to exorcise the risk that Pratobello 24 ends up in a drawer.
"The action" - Cossu clarifies - wants to be the first step of a democratic path that has as its objective safeguarding the Sardinian territory from energy speculation and reaffirming the sovereignty of the Sardinian population".
