Porto Torres, van crashes into a car: driver injured
The man, perhaps struck by an illness, was hospitalized
Another accident in the busy via delle Vigne, in Porto Torres.
The toll is one wounded, a 55-year-old man urgently transferred to the civil hospital of Sassari.
According to an initial reconstruction, a Doblò van carrying LPG cylinders, while traveling along via delle Vigne in the direction of the municipal stadium, perhaps due to an illness of the driver, collided with a parked car.
Two ambulances were on site, one of which was medicalized, which proceeded to transport the wounded man to the Santissima Annunziata for checks.
In the emergency, local police officers intervened to regulate traffic and a carabinieri patrol from the Porto Torres company for the reliefs and to ascertain the causes of the dynamics.
"Too many accidents occur in this arterial road, some even serious - complain the residents - I think the time has come to seriously think about intervening with tools or bollards capable of limiting speed and guaranteeing safety on the road, which has become a danger above all for pedestrians".
