"A lifetime of work gone up in smoke." There's anger and desperation in the words of Pierluigi Molino, a farmer and rancher from Porto Torres, current Forza Italia city coordinator , who saw flames destroy his home and damage part of the premises of the "Su Cuile" farmhouse , which was affected by a fire that broke out on Friday evening, likely caused by a short circuit.

Nothing remains of the house where he lived with his wife and two daughters. It's reduced to a pile of ash, its wooden roof collapsed, devoured by the flames that in a matter of moments attacked furniture, clothing, and every item in the house. "Nothing was saved in this house where I gave my all, investing significant resources," he said.

A renovated old rural house, adjacent to a B&B farmhouse, accommodated guests in a few available rooms, which fortunately survived the blaze. However, the breakfast room and dining room were up in smoke, having been reached by the flames . Firefighters did everything they could to save the house and the adjacent structure. The family was not inside at the time of the fire, but by the time they reached the farmhouse, everything had been destroyed.

Only their desperation remained; a life of sacrifice had unfolded before their eyes. Pier Luigi Molino is known for his great industriousness. The area was cordoned off by firefighters who secured the area.
