The concerts of the 21st edition of the Musica & Natura concert series, scheduled for Porto Torres, are changing location and moving to the green area of La Tenuta Li Lioni, where nature, culture, and hospitality meet. The fourth event, organized by the Musicando Insieme Association, will be held on Monday, July 27th, from 10:00 PM in the splendid garden, home to the Arkos Trio, the chamber music group composed of Maria Vicentini on violin, Salvatore Maiore on cello, and Sebastiano Dessanay on double bass.
The band's music is imbued with ancestral sounds, strongly influenced by traditional Mediterranean music and European jazz. This performance draws inspiration from the charm of Sardinia's most evocative locations. Violin, cello, and double bass find the perfect balance to tell stories of sea, land, and memory, pieces that speak directly to the soul. Artists Maiore and Dessanay, the composers of the music, embarked with Vicentini on a musical journey in search of magical places where they can enjoy splendid acoustics, such as La Tenuta, where sound blends with flavor and fine cuisine, offering spectators a double spectacle. The Musica & Natura project is curated by artistic director Donatella Parodi, supported by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia – Department of Public Cultural Heritage, the Municipality of Porto Torres, the Sassari Chamber of Commerce as part of the Salude e Trigu program, and the Fondazione di Sardegna. Its aim is to enhance music as a tool for cultural promotion, participation, and local awareness.
