Porto Torres, four puppies abandoned in the countryside: «ASL intervene»

Four puppies have been wandering for a few days in the countryside of Ponte Pizzinnu, a few steps from the urban center of Porto Torres. Their yelps attracted the attention of some passers-by who took action to ask for help. The animals would have been abandoned in the open countryside, without any care.

Sebastiano Candidda, president of the National League for the Defense of Dogs, having received the report, sent an urgent request for animal rescue to the competent office of the Turritano municipality.

The request, sent via email, requests the activation of the collection and admission procedure in the kennel via the Sassari Local Health Authority health service. The letter was also sent to the organisation's head of proceedings for stray dogs, Maria Elena Sini.
