First landing of the Costa Pacifica at the maritime port of Porto Torres.

The ship, one of the largest of the Italian company Costa Crociere, known for its elegance and the numerous services offered on board, will touch the port of Turritano on Tuesday 3 September at 8 am at the Asi 1 pier of the industrial port.

The stopover, extraordinarily scheduled in the calendar in the last weeks, represents an absolute novelty in the last minute itinerary of the company's programming, but also a test to test the reception capacity of the city of Porto Torres, compared to such a high number of visitors.

On board there are 3690 passengers and 1035 crew. Some of the visitors who choose to stay in the city will be able to use the shuttle service, provided by the Port Authority, which will take them to the Aragonese Tower where, to take care of the reception and provide all the useful information, the info point of the Municipal Tourist Office will be set up, managed by the cooperative Memoria Storica, responsible for ensuring the communication service and guided tours of the various sites of the city.

Others have already booked on board various excursions in the area through the tour operator. The Municipality, in close collaboration with the Port System Authority of the Sea of Sardinia and the Turritana Harbour Master's Office, is working hard to ensure hospitality in the city.

Several initiatives will be implemented to facilitate access to tourist attractions, improve traffic flow and ensure that catering and entertainment services are ready to welcome visitors.

For economic operators it will be an opportunity to increase the product offering service.
