Porto Torres, councilor overwhelmed by a car ends up in the emergency room: back injuries and head trauma

The councilor for culture of the Municipality of Porto Torres , Maria Bastiana Cocco, ended up in the Santissima Annunziata hospital , run over by a car while walking along a stretch of via Principe di Piemonte , near the intersection with via Adelasia, a short distance from the Parodi theater.

The accident this morning when, for reasons yet to be ascertained, the exponent of the Mulas council, 42 years old and by two members of the executive, was run over while crossing the road . The driver of the car stopped to render assistance.

The 118 doctors intervened immediately and, after having given first aid, they transported her by ambulance to the emergency room of the Sassari civil hospital. Undergoing tests, doctors found her to have back injuries and a head injury .
