A memorandum of understanding between the interested parties to rationalize the transport system in the area of the “Nino Pala” maritime station, at the Porto Torres port of call. It is the commitment that the regional councilor for Transport, Antonio Moro, managed to obtain from the entities involved, gathered in the council room of the Municipality of Turri in order to start a working table with the Port System Authority of northern Sardinia, Provincial industrial consortium of Sassari, the Province of Sassari and the Arst and Atp companies, to connect buses, taxis and shuttles with the arrival of trains and ships, currently disorganized and inefficient services.

For the exponent of the Solinas council: "The goal is to arrive at a signature of the Memorandum of Understanding between all the interested parties by next summer, so that efficient management of the maritime station is ensured, rationalizing the passenger reception services in the port ».

The Nino Pala station will become an intermodal center to create an easy interchange between all means of transport serving tourists. The institutional meeting on the theme "Rationalization of transport services and urgent interventions in the area", followed by an inspection at the port area concerned, saw the intervention, in addition to the councilor Moro for the Region, of all the representatives of the institutions : Mayor of Porto Torres Massimo Mulas, Natale Ditel and Marco Mura for the Port Authority, Salvatore Demontis and Valerio Scanu, director and president of the Industrial Consortium, Paolo Depperu president of the ATP, Roberto Neroni for Arst.
