Six minutes of images and music to describe the history and enchantment of the village, told by the voices of one of its two founders, Luigi Donà dalle Rose, the president of the Consortium, Leonardo Salvemini, and the general secretary, Paolo Manca. It is the institutional video, created for the first time and launched on YouTube by the Consortium, on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of the birth of Porto Rotondo and for which an ad hoc logo dedicated to promoting the celebrations is also being worked on.

A journey through the beauties of the tourist village to enhance its natural, cultural and architectural identity and the services offered by the Consortium which has been preserving and enhancing the village since 1969, respecting the balance between the uncontaminated landscape and sustainable development. «With this video we wanted to tell the story of Porto Rotondo and the Consortium in an authentic and passionate way, showing what makes this place so special which is not only a high-level tourist destination but also a lively and dynamic community», says Salvemini.

«I came to Porto Rotondo when I was very young, brought by my father on a boat and we saw an intact Sardinia, we loved it so much that we then created a project inspired by Venice and enriched by artists of the caliber of Andrea Cascella who had won the Biennale of Venice in 1964", says Count Donà dalle Rose.

With over three thousand houses, a marina with 800 berths, five-star hotels, small boutiques and works of art, including the church of San Lorenzo and the Mario Ceroli theatre, Porto Rotondo is one of the most renowned tourist settlements in the Mediterranean, in where in its 500 hectares of territory, the beauty of the beaches and the landscape that embraces it blends with the artistic and cultural values visible in the heart of the village.
