More and more daring wild boars, in search of food, go as far as a few meters from the beach of Platamona, the coast of Sassari.

By now the sightings are daily, as are the damages that these animals cause with their tusks to the private lands of the numerous characteristic villas that rise right in the pine forest, almost all built in the 60s and 70s.

«The raids are continuous and our gardens are full of holes - say some residents -. We organized ourselves by changing the fence nets to avoid further damage, but so far it has been useless: the wild boars dig and enter anyway. We have nothing against these animals, but it is certain that the competent authorities must put a stop to their proliferation. Every year it gets worse and we suffer thousands of euros in damages».
