More than a plane ticket, it's a drain: 827 euros for a Cagliari-Venice round trip, in spite of the low cost flight.

The musicians Mauro Palmas and Luigi Lai will be in Campoformido tomorrow, guests of the Folkest, a traveling festival that embraces the territories of Friuli Venezia Giulia: to take part in the event, they will take a flight with the low cost airline that really has nothing cheap.

«I wonder how one can even think of promoting the music of our land and of participating in festivals organized around Italy in the face of inaccessible prices like this», Palmas complains, «the main problem remains the Region's inability to to deal with this situation, after a completely wrong call for territorial continuity, passengers are forced to submit to the exorbitant demands of the airlines".

Those who, like him, travel for work and not for tourism «cannot choose when to leave, and must therefore buy tickets at exaggerated prices: the further insult is that these are non-refundable fares», he adds, «and therefore in case of unforeseen events they prevent the departure, even the money spent is lost. Faced with a similar scenario, it is legitimate to ask whether it is still worth leaving the island to promote one's music».
