The Tempio Prosecutor's Office has ordered the seizure and a computer assessment of the smartphone of Mario Masala, the man accused of having hit his neighbor, Tonino Pirastru, 76, with a van .

The events occurred in Porto Cervo (Liscia di Vacca) in early July. Prosecutor Milena Aucone has ordered technical activities on the PDA of the person investigated for voluntary homicide, the aim is to reconstruct the background to the crime.

Relations between the victim and the driver of the van were bad and before the murder Masala would have had a conversation with a family member. It is not excluded that he was warned about something Pirastru was doing, the positioning of a bollard in a space disputed between the two.

These are hypotheses to be verified, certainly the person under investigation, defended by the lawyers Giancarlo Frongia and Domenica Gala, categorically excludes having overwhelmed Pirastru with the desire to kill him.

The IT expert will have to extract all the data from the phone's memory. The victim's family members are assisted by lawyers Elias Vacca and Ezia Orecchioni.
