In the early hours of this morning, the Carabinieri of the Samatzai Station, with the operational support of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Sanluri Company, executed an arrest warrant issued by the Attorney General of the Republic at the Court of Appeal of Cagliari.

The arrested person is a 59-year-old resident of Pimentel, already subject to the obligation to remain in residence, definitively sentenced for drug-related crimes committed in 2019. The residual sentence to be served amounts to three years of imprisonment.

The man was located inside his home thanks to a territorial surveillance and monitoring activity by the Carabinieri of the Sanluri Company. Once the formalities were completed, the 59-year-old was taken to prison in Uta, at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
