Cagliari has a new centenary : Pierina Busu , who just yesterday, on the occasion of her birthday, received a visit from the president of the municipal council, Edoardo Tocco , crossed the milestone of such a prestigious life.
Born on May 9, 1923 and married to Antonio Puddu, a former paratrooper, the new centenarian celebrated with her large family which over the years has seen the addition of eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren to her four children.
Housewife, Pierina Busu continues to cultivate a passion for writing and information by following the news on TV.
On this occasion, President Tocco brought Pierina a souvenir parchment and a commemorative medal with the coat of arms of the Municipality of Cagliari .
