No piercings and long nails, the obligation to hand over smartphones before class and access to the vending machines for food and drinks once a day, one student per class with orders. It is the rules imposed by the principal of the high school of Human Sciences and Music "Sebastiano Satta" of Nuoro that have sparked the protests among the boys.

400 those who joined a strike and set up a garrison outside the school. A delegation of demonstrators and the manager Carla Marchetti opened a close confrontation.

“We find that the restrictions are exaggerated - says a girl -. What weighs the most is the fact of not being able to go to the vending machines, except once and one student per class. If we need a bottle of water at another time, we can't go anymore. But the other prohibitions also weigh and we will continue to protest until the principal comes to meet us ".

The manager, for her part, explained that the measures were taken to enforce the rules against gatherings, while the bans on long nails and piercings refer to safety issues for physical activities in the gym. He also recalled that cell phones must always be delivered before the start of classes.

But the students raise: "Without some concessions we will not return to the classroom".
