Luciano Piras, the 58-year-old lorry driver who stabbed a fellow villager in Paulilatino, was arrested for attempted murder.

The attack at the height of a dispute during a dog show: the man stabbed Daniele Vidili, a 30-year-old farm laborer, in the abdomen. Piras had not liked that Vidili's brother had tied the two dogs to the railing of a building. First the altered tones, then the extreme gesture.

Immediate help for Vidili who underwent two surgeries, one on the intestine and one on the kidney. Today the arrest for attempted murder, with the investigating judge who granted house arrest with the use of the electronic bracelet.
