In Alghero, Christmas smells of ginger and cinnamon thanks to Roberto Murgia, a master pastry chef known for his traditional creations. This year too, Murgia has decided to give away his Gingerbread House, a gingerbread house that has conquered social media thanks to the collaboration with Alessandra Polo and the Igers Sardegna team.

The appeal, spread on social media, invites citizens to report who, among people or entities in Sardinia, deserves to receive this extraordinary confectionery work. "The preparation was long and complex, every detail was taken care of with passion. I would like it to reach those who can truly appreciate its meaning", explains Murgia.

Suggestions can be left directly in the comments under the video published online by Sunday, December 22. Once the proposals have been collected, the public will choose the final recipient.

The initiative has already sparked a flurry of suggestions. Some suggest donating it to the young patients of the Microcitemico in Cagliari, others to the Giardino di Lu, known for its commitment to research, and others to the Duemari Veterinary Clinic in Oristano. Others suggest displaying it at the Alghero Airport, to let tourists admire the pastry chef's artisanal talent.

The Gingerbread House, which represents a symbolic gesture of sharing and solidarity, must be collected from Roberto Murgia's laboratory in via Marconi 11 in Alghero, by 12 noon on December 24th.

The appeal ends with an invitation to participate: "Share the post and help me find the right person," writes Murgia. An initiative that, like every year, brings with it the true spirit of Christmas.
