He was paralyzed after an accident. Now the Municipality of Elmas is called to compensate three million euros for an affair that dates back to 2013.

The judge ruled that part of the fault lay with the driver and the fact that he was going too fast, but that the body - which was not brought before the court - also had co-responsibility for the damage due to the positioning of a guardrail: the car had hit the cusp of the barrier which, instead of cushioning the impact, would have amplified it.

The sentence has become final. Neither the current mayor (Maria Laura Orrù) nor the mayor in office in 2013 (Valter Piscedda) were aware of the affair.
