Car on fire during the night in Palmas Arborea. From the first findings it seems that the fire was started deliberately: someone wanted to send a clear message to Fabrizio Carrucciu, a 42-year-old security guard living in the small town. The Carabinieri are investigating the episode.

The alarm at the Oristano fire brigade operations room came shortly after 2am, when residents in Via Garibaldi heard a loud bang and saw flames engulfing the front of a Ford Focus, parked in front of the owner's house.

In a few minutes the fire brigade teams arrived in Palmas and worked for several hours to put out the fire and secure the area. Checks began immediately to establish the causes of the fire, from the first findings it seems that someone was behind the fire . The Carabinieri of the Santa Giusta station and the Oristano Company immediately began their investigations and interviewed the security guard (who often works in the Terralbese fishery). The images from the video surveillance are also being examined.
