Palau, car against a garbage truck: a couple is serious

A seriously injured man was transported to the John Paul II hospital in Olbia by air ambulance and his wife transferred to the same hospital on board an ambulance.

This is the result of an accident that took place this evening around 7.30 pm on State Road 133, in the Palau area.

For reasons to be ascertained , the car in which the couple was traveling crashed into the back of a garbage compactor truck.

On the spot a team of the Arzachena firefighters, who collaborated with the rescuers of the 118 to assist the injured. It also made the vehicles safe and reclaimed the area. The local police of Palau also intervened.
