An accident that could have caused inconvenience or worse to railway traffic , but which was resolved without consequences thanks to the promptness and responsibility of the motorist responsible for the accident.

It happened yesterday in Pabillonis , on the SP69, where at km 7 + 400, towards Sardara, a 64-year-old on board a Fiat Panda hit, perhaps due to the fog which significantly limited his visibility, the a level crossing. The impact caused the vehicle's front windshield to shatter .

The man, fearing that what had happened could have repercussions on the correct movement of trains, therefore promptly notified the police, who in turn requested an intervention to restore the functionality of the barrier.

Rail traffic was therefore able to continue without problems.
