Overwhelmed by a car in Samassi: cyclist in red code

An 82-year-old man was seriously injured after being hit by a car while riding a bicycle in Samassi.

After the alarm, on the spot - in via Don Sturzo - the carabinieri of Villanovafranca and those of Samassi intervened, together with the 118 operators.

The cyclist was transported in code red to the civil hospital of San Gavino Monreale.

From what is learned, it would not be in danger of life.

The military instead carried out the surveys to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the collision, which would have been accidental.
