Flight to Lourdes delayed by more than six hours: 300 pilgrims, including elderly and vulnerable people, stranded in Elmas.

They completed all the boarding procedures for the flight that was due to take off at 2:30 pm for Lourdes, but from that moment on, enormous inconvenience began for approximately 300 people from the OFTAL and UNITALSI associations, including many disabled people, the elderly, and children: they were forced to wait at Elmas airport because the Alba Star plane began to accumulate hours of delays.
The latest update states takeoff at 8:50 PM. Hopefully, it won't be delayed any further , after a wait at the gate that will reach nine hours . Meanwhile, passengers, coming from various parts of Sardinia (Cagliari, Oristano, and the center of the island), have faced enormous problems due to the presence among them of several people with serious health problems .
