There are no lifeguards yet. Now, however, the coastal municipalities of the Oristano area can activate all the procedures to start the sea rescue service. This morning, in the aftermath of the tragedy that took place in the Narbolia marina where Carlo Lugliè, a university professor in Cagliari, lost his life, the figures allocated for each municipality arrived in the office protocol.

In the coffers of the Municipality of Cabras , to monitor 40 kilometers of coast, just over 34 thousand euros will arrive. For the coast of Santa Giusta 14 thousand euros. For the Arborea beach instead 21 thousand euros. To activate the service in San Vero Milis there are 28 thousand euros available. For Narbolia instead 11 thousand, while for the coast of Cuglieri just over 18 thousand euros. To make the Torre Grande beach safer, the Region has allocated 23 thousand euros.

In the meantime, however, it is better to be careful, especially when there is bad weather: the figures are known but it will still take some time to see the lifeguards on duty. In Santa Giusta, once the procedures have been completed, the tender has been published and the operator who will be awarded the service has been identified, the turrets will be positioned in Abarossa, at the height of the two kiosks. On the coast of Cabras, however, the lifeguards will be as always in San Giovanni di Sinis, Maimoni, Mari Ermi and Is Arutas. In Arborea the lifeguards will be operational at number 27, a few meters from the colony. In the Municipality of Cuglieri the beaches of S'Archittu, Santa Caterina and Is Arenas will be monitored.
