Since June they have been at the forefront of patrolling and supervising migratory flows on the Calabrian coast. After two months of mission, the men of the Coast Guard of Oristano, under the command of lieutenant Alessandro Manca, have returned in recent days.

In this period spent in the Calabrian waters and coasts, the men of the Harbor Master's Office carried out multiple rescue operations, saving children, women and men in difficulty, traveling more than 1500 miles for about 200 total engine hours, in operational set-up, directly reporting of the Operational Department of the Maritime Directorate of Reggio Calabria.
